# MOMO Pro User Guide

MOMO Pro gives traders the edge to quickly uncover movers and insight to time entries and maximize profit. Built for momentum trading - but simplicity, customization, and alerting enhance all trading styles.

### Overview

MOMO Pro was built to discover new stocks and uncover trades before your competition (other traders). MOMO Pro is our latest platform designed to provide the best visibility to stocks making meaningful moves. MOMO Pro works by examining the price action on over 16,000 equities across Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX and then streaming the intraday breakout activity in real-time. Armed with this unique capability, you can quickly monitor and identify trading opportunities previously unaware to you.

MOMO Pro is focused on delivering market action so you can profit. There are a host of other tools that provide charting and trade execution, but MOMO Pro is purpose built to scan the US markets and uncover your next winning trade.

The standard version of MOMO Pro provides the familiar new realtime high / new low capabilities found in the first version of MOMOweb released 7 years ago, but with a significantly improved interface to make MOMO more accessible regardless of device.

MOMO Pro+ takes trade discovery to the next level, by providing Discovery -- a sortable and filterable view that captures and screens stocks in 1 minute to 1 month timeframes. The new sortable view enables you to now look at stocks making movement beyond higher highs or lower lows, but to also include those with total highest momentum, unusual volume, percent change, and VWAP distance.

MOMO Pro+ includes special indicators for finding momentum and identify stocks exiting consolidation (squeeze) patterns as well as adding screening queries based on trend, gaps, and significant money flows. Additional technical indicators include short interest ratio (DTC), Gap% as well as Average True Range (ATR%). MOMO Pro+ includes conditional alert notifications using available MOMO criteria to build alerts which return symbols based on condition. MOMO Pro+ also provides the availability to access alerts with our webhook API.

MOMO Pro Ultra is our latest addition and incorporates Aura, our AI advisor tuned by using realtime data and incorporating your MOMO watchlist favorites and our Aura AI agents. Additionally it includes MOMO Orb and keyword-based news filtering and additional available panes.

The entire platform is optimized it to be fully resizable to support a wide range of resolutions and devices - whether Windows, MacOS, Android or iOS.

# Getting Started

If you have not signed up yet, you may do so at [momo.mometic.com/register](https://momo.mometic.com/register). There are 3 available plans. MOMOPro , Pro+, and Pro Ultra. Plans are offered in both monthly and discounted annual options. If you have any questions, email us at <hello@mometic.com> or try our online chat.

### How it Works <a href="#how-it-works-section" id="how-it-works-section"></a>

MOMO works by scanning the entire US stock market in realtime to continually uncover the equities that are making moves. MOMO provides full support for **market and extended hours**. You may still use MOMO outside of hours , but the MOMO Stream functionality will be idle as there are no new trades taking place. Discovery and other elements are available regardless of market status.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Useful Tip:**

The platform provides full extended hours trade data from the beginning of pre-market at 4:00am ET until end of after-hours close at 8:00pm ET
{% endhint %}

# Menu & Layout

Before we dive into the functionality, take a look at the menuing and layout manager. Within your browser or when deployed as a [PWA](https://blog.mometic.com/momo-web-app-install-on-desktop-or-phone/) the MOMO components will automatically resize and stack to fit your needs across devices.

The top menu bar is used for adding and removing components. Use the left arrows and right arrows to display items off the page. Unselected items return to the "+ MORE" menu folder.

<figure><img src="/files/R3row8hTPhUlfGNc3MZY" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro Top Menu</p></figcaption></figure>

### Advanced Layout Management

MOMO Pro also includes advanced layout management to enable you to detach, resize, and close components to support using MOMO on multiple screens and layouts.

<figure><img src="/files/pM9zA3TiqhCOi0KBlE2r" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro Default View</p></figcaption></figure>

Each of the 10 available components makes up MOMO Pro. The Discovery components will not be displayed if you only subscribe to the MOMO basic plan. You may upgrade at any time to receive this capability.

When you first start MOMO Pro, you will see the default layout. This is our Dynamic layout and is responsive to particular window sizes and layouts for that “web app” experience. The layout menu is accessed from the layout manager <img src="/files/HSuZeKVLqQRMYn4AjeJt" alt="" data-size="line"> on the top right of the Dashboard.

You will notice most windows have layout toolbars. These are used to arrange and pop out windows from the MOMO Dashboard.

At any time, you may detach a window by clicking the leftmost detach icon in the toolbar. You can move and save the layout with one or more components spread across screens, as illustrated below.

<figure><img src="/files/AOhVjy7HPwrzv5FNGWE4" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro Multi Screen Optional View</p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Useful Tips:**

Everyone has different layout needs, screen resolution, and device types. You can customize MOMO Pro in a variety of ways to meet your needs.

* Full-screen expansion -- Both Stream and Discovery have optional full-screen expansion options in the top right of their respective windows.
* Toggling Menu -- By default, all elements are enabled. Select or unselect to save space or remove items that are not needed.
* Browser Zoom -- On MacOS or Windows you can adjust your browser font size with Zoom. To zoom in or out with windows, use ctrl + or -. With MacO use command + or -.
* To adjust a layout, first select the layout option from the layout manager, then ensure the layout is unlocked. Then, make the desired changes. To "save" settings and prevent further change, move the layout to the locked position.
* If you are unable to detach windows or they are hidden, make sure you have enabled your browser “Popup or Popout and redirects” in settings and verify the Layout is unlocked..
* If you are unable to manage and save settings across multiple displays, ensure you have enabled “Window Management” in your browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, or Safari).
* **ULTRA Only -** Provides 3 Stream, 3 Discovery, and 2 News panes. &#x20;
* **If the layout is locked, the layout toolbars for each component will be hidden until unlocked preventing resizing and pop-out capabilities.**

# MOMO Pro Features

Functionality available on all plans.

MOMO Pro includes several features to help uncover and track stock discoveries. The following sections detail the functionality for each.

### **MOMO Meters**

The MOMO Meters show a rolling market breadth over a 3 min period. Each row represents the current number of winners to losers for the Dow, Nasdaq, and SPY. How to use the MOMO Meters: Markets can change direction quickly and swings based on index percentage changes are slow to highlight this swing especially particularly since indexes are cap weighted.

![MOMO Meters](https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/MOMO-Meter.png)

Located on the top of the MOMO screen, the MOMO Meters let you quickly identify market bias and flows. On either side of the MOMO logo are three sets of gauges. These gauges represent activity from top to bottom for the Dow, Nasdaq, and S\&P 500. Specifically, the MOMO Meters are a visualization of those making new intraday highs vs. lows. For example, if the S\&P 500 had a combined ten stocks making either a new high or low and 8 of them during the period were highs, the bottom MOMO Meter would be 80% green and 20% red.

### **Favorite Quotes**

Uncover a stock and add to quotes to keep tabs on the movement. If you add as a favorite in Discovery, it will automatically be added as a Quote. Quotes are integrated throughout MOMO Pro to help you track activity in Stream, News and Discovery.

![Favorite Quotes](https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/Favorite-Stock-Quotes2.png)

Swipe or drag left or right to review all quotes that have been added. To remove a quote select the star. To add a quote, click on the "+" indicator in the lefthand window. H and L are daily high and low values. The "Pin" icon represents the gain or loss since you started tracking the symbol and can be reset by clicking the icon.

The down arrow " " provides way to fully expand all quotes for quick reference as shown below. Tap the up arrow " " to collapse.

You may also change the sort order by expanding the control in top left corner as shown.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/Favorite-Quotes-Expanded.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Expanded Favorite Quotes</p></figcaption></figure>

### **MOMO Stream View**

The MOMO Stream scans for new highs and new lows in realtime. The Stream is divided into two columns. The red column on the left-hand side shows new lows for the day and the right-hand green column shows new daily highs.

MOMO Stream provides option for two different windows. By default, Stream 1 is set for Filter and the Stream 2 is disabled. When Stream 2 is enabled, configure as needed in Stream 2 Settings. You will have option to toggle between Streams as needed. After configuring the Stream 2 you can arrange size and arrange and save in the Layout Manager. See [Stream Settings ](broken://pages/bqC5qbvjLvdw5eP3CJ7U)for additional details.

The Halt bar highlights any current halts as well as when they resume (active for trading).  Next to halted stocks is a timer to help track likely resumption time.  In most instances limit halts resume in 5 minutes, with 10 minutes as the next resumption time point.  &#x20;

![MOMO High/Low Stream View](/files/EHfA55VHFafyZYZUkHCv)

Both the left and right columns in the data stream display the following data:

* **Symbol** – Abbreviation used to uniquely identify publicly traded equity.
* **Count** - The number of times the particular symbol has reached a new intraday high or low.
* **Price** – Real-time last traded value in USD.
* **Socially Trending (ST)** - Indicates that the particular symbol has been recently trending on the stock platform Stocktwits. (e.g. AAPL in image above)
* **52 Week High and Lows** - 52 week events provides a powerful benchmark for breakout strength. MOMO visually highlights with solid green or red highlights behind the symbol.
* **Limit Up/Limit Down -** If subject to a halt due to volatile moves, LU/LD values will appear showing upper and lower halt values.
* **Optionable**- If enabled in settings, MOMO will identify stocks that support options with a small "o". The options settings also can completely remove stocks that do not support options with the "Filter" setting. (**Caution** - This setting is global and applies to Discovery as well. Many small float stocks will be removed if set to filter.)
* **Favorite** - If a favorite quote, a star icon is shown to help highlight the move.
* **News**- If related News, a news icon will be shown next to symbol. (e.g. PNNT & AAPL in image above)

{% hint style="info" %}
**Useful Tip:**

MOMO doesn’t differentiate whether the 52wk high/low is reached in normal trading hours or in extended hours, but will reset the 52 week value nightly based on what Nasdaq recognizes as the 52 week high or low. For example, if AAPL has a prior 52 week high of $178 and reaches $180.00 during premarket, MOMO will highlight that as a new 52 week high in the MOMO stream. But if during normal market hours AAPL only reaches $175 and, not a new 52week high, $178 will remain the 52 week high on record.
{% endhint %}

### **Popular**

MOMO is built to help highlight stocks stand out. Popular simply presents stocks which other users are actively researching and engaging with. Click on any the listed symbols to open the action window to research or set an alert.

![Popular Stocks](https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/popular.png)

### **Alert History**

Browser notifications are easy to miss and quickly disappear. Alert history solves this problem so you can review alerts as needed.

![MOMO Alert History](https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/alert-history.png)

### **Stock News**

MOMO provides up to the second news on entire market, only your favorite quotes, any symbol searched upon, and automatically when any symbol is clicked on within the platform.

<img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/stocknewsscan.png" alt="Realtime News Feed" width="700">

### **Quick Links**

Within MOMO you may launch popular media sources to help find news and data supporting the price movement. Once selected, MOMO will launch a new browser tab for the desired news and stock symbol.

You may also use the menu to add as a Favorite or quickly add an alert.

# MOMO Pro+ Base

Features available in Pro+ and above

With your MOMO Pro+ subscription, you will have the Discovery feature enabled. Discovery provides a more analytical way of presenting data and the sortable fields uniquely highlight opportunities on their own merits. Search by stock, filter by industry or select your favorites to uncover notable movements on new stocks or keep close tabs on those you closely follow.

<figure><img src="/files/m6ML7A4RGbbC52qbigen" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro Discovery Analytics</p></figcaption></figure>

### **Key Discovery Features**

Discovery updates with live pricing volume updates as well as analytics to keep you up to date on the biggest movers.&#x20;

The Discovery columns are sortable by clicking on the column heading name. This means you can order the columns from high to low in order to see either the biggest gainers or losers in the market. Use the sortable fields in conjunction with the filters and search to sort a smaller subset of symbols.

* **Symbol** - The stock's name as part of the Discovery results. You may mouse over to get the full name of the business or issue.
* **Sparkline** - Timeframe sensitive micro chart used for quick reference. Color coded to represent positive or negative direction based on chosen timeframe.
* **Momentum** - Calculated using count data from the MOMO Stream. A positive value represents more new daily highs of the day vs. new daily lows of the day. The ability for a stock to continue to break prior highs or lows is a powerful indicator as sellers stay on the sidelines and buyers still see opportunity despite the rising price. (Obviously, the inverse if going down).
* **Float** - Filterable element that lets you identify stocks that may rapidly rise or fall due to a limited number of outstanding tradable shares.
* **VWAPDist** - New function that actively scans the market based on percent distance from VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price). This allows you at any point to see which stocks are deviating most from this metric.
  * **About VWAP**. VWAP is important because it provides traders with insight into both the trend and value of a security. VWAP is a common indicator and historically known as the point at which large funds accumulate or distribute their holdings as it was deemed the most representative price to value for the day. Algorithmic trading has certainly found more contemporary ways to accumulate or distribute, but the VWAPDist is still a great way to uncover stocks pulling away from volume-priced action.
* **Uvol** - Our abbreviation for “unusual volume”. We look at volume in premarket, normal hours, and extended hours, slice the day into 15-minute snapshots, and compare those snapshots to the past 30 trading days. If the current volume rises abnormally relative to the market, it will rise to the top.
  * **About Uvol**. Our unusual volume implementation is unique and can highlight deviations independent of spikes in the market open or lulls during lunch hour. Uvol may report peculiar percentages based on incomplete reporting on new stocks and thinly traded issues. Relatively unknown stocks getting interest during extended hours will rise to the top.
* **RelStr** - Our abbreviation for “relative strength”. This indicator compares gains and losses relative to the SPY on a percentage basis. It is a timeframe-sensitive indicator to help quickly assess performance.
* **Timeframe** - Evaluate your filtered criteria across 10 different timeframes; from 1 minute to 1 month. When selected, Discovery automatically compares performance vs. prior selected timeframe. So if 5 minute timeframe is selected, shown data is vs. prior 5 minute close.
* **Actions** - Provide options for adding a symbol to the list of Favorites or setting an alert

### **Discovery Filters**

Refine the Discovery View to your needs with one of the available filtering methods. Where sorting toggles the direction of the data when clicking on column headings, filtering reduces the displayed data based on your criteria.

* **Industries** - Choose to filter Discovery by Industry and view the performance of only the businesses in the chosen industry. To deselect and show all options, just select Industry again.
* **Custom Filters** - Create and save your own filters based on select criteria. You may edit or delete any saved filter as needed.
  * **Important Note -** Custom Filters allow you to create temporary filters or saved filters. To save a filter, enter Filter Name and select "Save & Filter". For one-time queries, select "Add New", enter criteria, and then select "Filter". If the name field is empty it cannot be saved.<br>

    Saved Filters are available from the Custom Filter drop-down for quick reference.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/Saved-Filters.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Discovery Saved Filters </p></figcaption></figure>

After selecting the Add New + item in the Custom Filter drop-down, you can add remove up to 15 criteria to build your filter depending on if using Pro or Pro+ plan. You may also define your preset view options. When defined, you can automatically load the column sort, timeframe, and preferred categories. You may also share these settings with other traders with the Share link.

<figure><img src="/files/RwSce7TrgV4PBCPbs7bE" alt=""><figcaption><p>Discovery Filter Builder</p></figcaption></figure>

* **Favorites** - Any time you click the star to the right of a symbol, you will create a new Favorite. It's similar to a watch list but easier to manage. At any time, you may click the Favorites button to see the performance. Select again to return to the full view.
* **Search** - Top right option within the Discovery window. Enter the selected symbol to find the stock performance. (works great when setting up Favorites).

### **Additional Discovery Features**

* **Expanded View** - Select this icon <img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/crop-icon.png" alt="expand view" data-size="line"> on the top right of Discovery to expand the Discovery window to the full width and height of the browser. (This functionality is also available for the High/Low Stream view.)
* **Pin hold -** Appears only when using filters and keeps transient stocks or stocks no longer meeting filtered criteria in view for longer periods (from 5 seconds to 30 minutes).
* **CSV Download** - Tap the Discovery Pro icon to reveal the option to download the current view. The download is limited to 250 rows, and the CSV will capture and export data based on filter settings.

{% hint style="info" %}

#### **Useful Tip #1**

VWAP indicator is a 24 hour rolling weighted average which means that the value is structured on recent data. You can use the VWAPdist% to get an understanding of whether current day traders are profitable or losing money (if long) and also to help gauge if the security is over-extended and likely going to return to the volume-weighted mean. Many charting tools will plot the VWAP for you. What the VWAPdist% does is uniquely scan the market for those stocks starting to make moves after a relative period of low volatility. While historically an intraday indicator, MOMO Pro has extrapolated VWAP to provide weekly and monthly context.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}

#### **Useful Tip #2**

Correlation between any of the fields is often likely, but it is in no ways mandatory due to the nature of a stock’s movements.

E.g.

* Uvol could be up 1000%, and the stock could drop back to a 0% gain/loss for the day. May occur after positive speculation on earnings that don’t live up to expectations. Heavy selling into buying keeps stock relatively flat.
* Momentum may report +100, and VWAPdist% may be a negative value. Scenario - Early morning gains held steady through the day, and profits were taken at the end of the day.
* Percent gain may show 10%, but momentum may be nominal. Percent gain is a function comparing the current price to the prior day's close. Momentum is based on the number of new highs to new lows. Both work together, but spreads and volatility won’t see these tightly aligned. Scenario - AAPL may have a momentum value of 100 and a gain of only 1% as the spread is much tighter than a stock with a lower volume. Additionally, a stock with a large gap first trade will account for additional deviation.
  {% endhint %}

### MOMO Flow&#x20;

MOMO Flow is the latest addition specifically designed to cater to the needs of traders seeking a reliable method to spot volume spikes. By leveraging per-second trade data, MOMO Flow provides real-time insights into volume spikes relative to 1-minute or 5-minute timeframes.

<figure><img src="/files/QhnWsytzIJBX3OIaWPks" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Flow Realtime Volume Scanner</p></figcaption></figure>

**Key Benefits**

* **Immediate Detection:** Unlike systems that analyze at the close of intervals, MOMO Flow offers instantaneous volume anomaly detection even before the close of timeframe.
* **Enhanced User Experience:** A compact, ticker-like interface suitable for compact placement next to brokerage platforms.
* **Expanded Market Support:** Supports NYSE, Nasdaq, as well as OTC markets across regular and pre- / post market hours.

**Features**

**Realtime Z-Scoring Statistical Analysis:** Provides a comprehensive view of market volume and includes dark pool volume data.

**Per-Second Analysis:** Identify trade spikes from institutions, meme "attacks", or breakouts without the standard waiting period.

**Immediate Print Updates:** Real-time notifications if a trade surpasses statistical levels, eliminating the wait for the interval to close.

**Symbol Quicklook:** Hover over any symbol for a quick company overview.

**Play/Pause Option:** Allows users to pause the flow for a more in-depth review of movers.

**Customizable Settings:** Users can adjust the 1-minute/5-minute volume requirements and daily volume based on their preferences.

<figure><img src="/files/yrZJAkr0xIvlTTex2vTc" alt=""><figcaption><p>Customizable Flow Settings</p></figcaption></figure>

# MOMO Pro+ Advanced

MOMO Pro+ Algorithms and Capabilities available in Pro+ and above

These enhancements are implemented in Discovery and Notifications components and build on Discovery and Notifications. It is highly recommended you review the [MOMO Pro+ Base](/momo-pro-user-guide/momo-pro+-base) and other sections as the functional overviews are not repeated here.

### **MOMO Vector**&#x20;

MOMO Vector is a VWAP-derived indicator and our most recent algorithmic addition. MOMO Vector simplifies screening for momentum breakouts of any velocity. It is highly responsive and works equally well across all our available timeframes (from 1 min to 1 month).

With VWAP as part of MOMO Vector's DNA, volume and price are needed to influence the value. Increasing volume and increasing price will more strongly influence the value than only one of the elements. When trying to identify quick moves that are validated with volume, MOMO Vector is an ideal indicator. The valid values for Vector are -10 to +10, with -10 being most bearish and +10 being most bullish. As with all our indicators, you can refine your screening further by combining multiple indicators.

<figure><img src="/files/m6ML7A4RGbbC52qbigen" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro+ Vector Indicator</p></figcaption></figure>

#### **About MOMO Vector**

MOMO Vector simplifies finding meaningful momentum moves regardless of price or timeframe. It utilizes latent elements of VWAP to provide a score based value to highlight momentum. See our [blog](https://blog.mometic.com) for a deeper dive.

### **MOMO Squeeze**&#x20;

MOMO Squeeze provides TTM Squeeze scanning across the entire market to view stocks currently in a "squeeze" pattern, breaking out of squeeze or post-squeeze. MOMO Squeeze can be used across all timeframes and also with filters to provide custom views using available Discovery columns as filter criteria. Click on the MOMO Squeeze heading to toggle through the 5 different sort order and states.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/ttmsqueeze.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro+ Squeeze Column</p></figcaption></figure>

#### **About MOMO Squeeze**

MOMO Squeeze is a very powerful indicator and complements unusual volume to identify stocks in an imminent breakout. Our implementation is refined to work across all timeframes, but given the algorithmic complexity, it may include some noise - particularly with low-volume stocks trading with shorter timeframes (15 minutes to 2 hours).\
\
MOMO Squeeze utilizes the TTM Squeeze approach and utilizes Keltner channels, Bollinger bands, EMA and average true range (ATR) to determine the squeeze states of each stock. All positions across the entire market are recalculated every 60 seconds.

### **MOMO Trend**&#x20;

MOMO Trend provides a timeframe-based scan of equities' direction across an entire market. If you have used Supertrend on charting applications, you will see strong similarities. MOMO Trend provides a scan-based view of upward and downward bias as well as price point where the trend pivots across each timeframe. Advanced filters can be used to scan based on MOMO Trend and any of the other indicators based on your trading style. As an example, a filter could be set to show "MOMO Trend = "Buy" AND Uvol = > "50%" and Price > "3%".

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/supertrendscan.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro+ Trend (Buy / Sell Indicator)</p></figcaption></figure>

As with MoneyFlow, you can click the symbol's trend icon to reveal the price when the trend changes. This is valuable for establishing stops and entry points and is timeframe-dependent.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/supertrendchange.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click Trend Icon to Show Buy/Sell Trigger</p></figcaption></figure>

**About MOMO Trend**. The algorithm behind MOMO Trend and Supertrend have become known for their reliability in providing accurate trend direction as well as entry and exit points. Prior to MOMO Trend, it was labour-intensive using charts to get directional insight. Where basic smoothed average trend indicators provide a basic understanding of directional bias, MOMO Trend incorporates volatility to maximize trading profits by letting "runners run" and closing positions before big trend changes. MOMO Trend is highly complementary to other MOMO indicators and is fully implemented throughout the platform with availability in both Discovery Filters and Conditional Alerts.

### **Gap Scan**&#x20;

The Gap column in Discovery shows you the current gaps versus the prior day's close. As with all Discovery columns, Gaps is sortable simply by clicking on the heading label. Several strategies around gap trading typically garner attention and trade volume. Our implementation is based we compare the market open against the prior day close. This provides users with the ability to identify the breadth of the gap using our filter logic. In other words, you may track a gap from 1% (or dollar-based as chosen in Discovery settings) up to a higher percentage (e.g., 10% or dollar equivalent). Additionally, our logic is unique in that we account for gap fills and actively adjust the Gap value if trades begin to fade the action.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/Gap-Scanner-MOMO.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro+ Gap Scan</p></figcaption></figure>

**About Gap Scan**. The Gap Scan is available to Pro+ traders in Stream as well. This means you may filter the Stream’s high/low breakouts with a certain Gap percentage. The Gap scan is also available as a parameter with Conditional Alerts. It's worth mentioning that our Gap Scan is available in pre-market and based on opening pre-market trade.

### **Money Flow**&#x20;

**Money Flow** provides a stock's true interest level relative to other stocks and its own historical flows over time. This is useful for assessing relative investment traded to track liquidity and interest. Our implementation is dynamically calculated per timeframe and updated every minute.

**About Money Flow**. The Money Flow calculation uses the relative timeframe VWAP-based price multiplied by the corresponding timeframe volume to determine the total Money Flow. This is also known as “Dollar Flow” or "Dollars Traded”. To use, click the column heading to sort and see those stocks with the most flow in the current period relative to all other stocks. If you click on a money flow value for a particular symbol, a pop-up showing the Money flow history of the current period vs. prior history will appear. The pop-up also shows the percent change of the current period vs. the most recent prior period. MoneyFlow is also an available filter in Discovery. There are two money flow filters available. You may choose to filter by the % change or the absolute dollar range.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/moneyflow.png" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Conditional Alert**&#x20;

Custom alerts built on your criteria. Where other MOMO alert types require a stock symbol, Conditional Alerts report the symbols which meet the set criteria. Conditional alerts may be configured using any or all of the available criteria, including avg volume, float, price, price change%, momentum, unusual volume, VWAPdist, moneyflow range, moneyflow change%, and MOMO squeeze.

**About Conditional Alerts**. Conditional alerts also use category and timeframe attributes in their definition. Understanding how the timeframe impacts the alerts is important. If the timeframe is set to 1 day and you wish to report all stocks moving more than 1%, then you will be notified based on the prior day's close for every 1% change. Repeated values are not included, but stocks which achieve an incremental 1% gain will be alerted. If the timeframe is set for 1 hour, the evaluation is similar to 1 day, but you are now scanning based on a 1% change versus the close on the prior hour. Alerted stocks will not be repeated unless they achieve an additional 1% gain. All conditional alerts are reported once every 3 minutes.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/conditional-breakout.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Conditional Alert Builder</p></figcaption></figure>

**Webhook API**&#x20;

Directly integrate your alerts into your trading system or messaging tools. Every notification type can now be integrated via our webhook. This is particularly powerful when used with Conditional Alerts. MOMO Pro+ users will see the code link next to the alerts which support the Webhook API as shown below.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/webhookcodelink.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Click the &#x3C;/> to highlight Webhook </p></figcaption></figure>

To use, put your the URL provided by your integration endpoint into the URL field as illustrated and save. The available API payload data is shown and is unique per alert type.

<figure><img src="https://momoscanner.b-cdn.net/momopro-help/assets/images/webhookAPI.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>Webhook Pop-up </p></figcaption></figure>

#### **Useful Tip**

It is important to note that TTM Squeeze has typically only been available while charting with a single symbol. To modify and provide our ranking and tabular scanning view we had to incorporate the presentation of the data in a meaningful way. We did this by creating 3 phases of MOMO Squeeze. The first phase is "PRE". This phase indicates stocks are currently in a squeeze pattern. For each timeframe "bar" the stock is in a squeeze we increment the count. So a PRE squeeze of 5 while viewing the 1hr timeframe would mean that the stock has been in a squeeze pattern for 5 hours. The "Now" phase highlights stocks which are currently "firing" a Squeeze breakout for the set timeframe. Lastly, the "POST" phase captures up to 5 post squeeze bars. These are illustrated as negative values.\
\
In the above Discovery image, you can see that PPSI is currently firing, while POLA is showing it is in ongoing Squeeze over the daily timeframe. This is notable because while POLA is having a sizable daily gain, its volatility dictates it has not broken the trend in a meaningful way. This is supported by the charts, which show high volatility and spikes only a few days prior.\
\
For a deeper illustration - Let's say AAPL is entering a tight trading range from 150 to 155 over 15 days, and MOMO Squeeze identifies this as a legitimate squeeze. On day 15, the PRE Squeeze count would show "15" on MOMO. The following day AAPL breaks out of squeeze and touches 157 and MOMO Squeeze validates this with a solid orange circle to show it is breaking out (aka firing). Two days later, you can see there was a recent breakout as the value is now post-breakout and has a value of "-2".

# MOMO Pro Ultra Features

Features exclusive to MOMO Pro Ultra

MOMO Pro Ultra is our premier plan complete with all of our available features. Ultra, as the name suggests, is the next and newest level of pushing stock market awareness to the limits of our imagination.

Note, it is highly recommended you review the [MOMO Pro+ Base](/momo-pro-user-guide/momo-pro+-base) and [MOMO Pro+ Advanced](/momo-pro-user-guide/momo-pro+-advanced)and other sections as the functional capabilities available in those plans are not duplicated here.

### **MOMO ORB**&#x20;

Opening Range Breakout (ORB) is a trading strategy which has a long history of success in charting realm. MOMO ORB has simplified the effort of uncovering ORB breakouts by adding a newly available ORB filter option in MOMO Stream.

To use, go to Stream settings and set Mode to ORB. Once selected, an ORB filter window will appear. Next, set the window by setting the opening time and closing time. This establishes the ORB window and the range by which will determine subsequent results.

<figure><img src="/files/AZUJEcFSnzpUd5pw2M5B" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO ORB Window Setting </p></figcaption></figure>

After setting the ORB window, you may use any of other filters to further refine your results.  For example, if you set the Stream ORB window from 9:15 to 10 AM (all are set in EST) and also set the price from $1 to $25 and a float of under 50 million you will only see stocks meeting that criteria for ranges established during the 9:15am to 10am window.  Meaning, any stock that had a high or low outside the range prior to the 9:15 range will not be considered. &#x20;

As stocks often establish a trading range early in the trading day which often sets the tone for rest of day, MOMO ORB's ability to automatically scan stocks extending beyond the range is extremely powerful as the range breakouts usually occur with meaningful momentum.

#### **About MOMO ORB**

MOMO ORB is one of our most compute intensive services. It requires capturing all the potential timeframes and creating individual streams for each timeframe to accomplish. If you adjust your timeframe range prior to the range you have in mind, you may make adjustments as long as the window is outside your current timeframe for the current day. If the adjustment ORB window is yet to occur, making adjustments is not a problem. However, if range is in current time or past you will need to wait until following day to get the correct results.

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Useful tip

If the opening value is left unset, but the closing right value is set; using  9:30 EST as an example.  We've kept this as a valid configuration as it provides the ability to reset the Stream such that it ignores any prior highs or lows and considers the closing time as the point which all new highs and lows start for the day.  Several traders have requested ability to only see new activity following market open or after a news event.  This can be done in the future in current day up to 12pm EST.  But you cannot do the same if you set the opening value and closing during a period which includes the current time. &#x20;
{% endhint %}

### **MOMO Gamma**

Is a market structure visualization analytics tool that maps options dealer positioning to expose the structural constraints of an underlying asset.

Rather than relying on historical price technicals, Gamma calculates the real-time mechanical leverage the derivatives market exerts over the spot market. By analyzing aggregated Open Interest (state) and intraday Volume (flow), MOMO Gamma identifies the exact liquidity points including; Call Walls, Put Walls, and absolute Magnet where market makers and dealer hedging will mathematically amplify:\
\
1\)  Directional velocity\
2\) Create range-bound friction \
3\) Aggressively pin the underlying price.

In short, MOMO Gamma provides heightened structural awareness of an asset's risk and path of least resistance while you are purchasing or tracking an opportunity.

<figure><img src="/files/fp9qBhORiBqan6KKHUWY" alt="MOMO Gamma - Gamma Exposure Tool"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Visual Indicators

VWAP (Pink Line) - Relevant as dealers and market makers are measured partially on this baseline trade.

Bounding Bands (Red top and Green bottom) - These are statistical ranges where dealers and market makers see as anomalous and will capitalize upon as the deviation is significant enough that its a meaningful point to buy or sell into as needed. &#x20;

* VWAP (Pink Line) — Institutional Equilibrium: The volume-weighted baseline of the session. Because institutional execution algorithms and market makers are benchmarked directly against this exact curve, it acts as the intraday center of gravity for order flow. Crossing it signals a shift in control between buyers and sellers.
* Bounding Bands (Red Top / Green Bottom) — Statistical Exhaustion Zones: Standard deviation excursions (+/- 2.0 and 2.5 SD) anchored directly to the VWAP. These bands map the limits of intraday variance backed by actual liquidity. Dealers recognize these outer boundaries as technical exhaustion points, capitalizing on the extreme deviation to fade the anomaly, force mean-reversion, or aggressively offload position.

#### Gamma Levels

* Resistance (Call Wall): The uppermost strike. This is the options price containing the largest concentration of positive dealer gamma. As the spot price rallies toward this strike, market makers are mathematically forced to sell the underlying asset to remain delta-neutral. This creates a massive liquidity ceiling that actively suppresses further upside expansion.
* Support (Put Wall): The lowermost strike. This is the strike containing the largest concentration of negative dealer gamma. It acts as the market floor. The extreme put positioning here creates high friction, but if this wall is conclusively breached, the floor collapses. Dealers are then obligate into pro-cyclical shorting, triggering rapid downside velocity.
* Magnet (Major Wall): The center of options interest. This is the single strike holding the highest absolute notional gamma (regardless of whether it is call or put dominant) across the entire analyzed chain. Because the mandatory dealer hedging flows around this specific strike can completely dwarf organic spot liquidity, the price is pulled toward it. It acts as the primary institutional anchor, especially as expiration approaches (aka pinning).

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Useful tip

Unlike commonly used Bollinger Bands—which rely on a Simple Moving Average (SMA) of closing prices over an short (usually 20 tp) rolling timeframe—VWAP SD bands factor in *capital density*. Bollinger Bands measure price variance, meaning they are easily distorted by low-volume wicks and empty price gaps. VWAP SD measures the variance of actual, volume-weighted capital commitment from the session open. It isolates true structural exhaustion—where the heavy money mathematically refuses to push further—providing a much higher-probability zone for dealer mean-reversion. &#x20;
{% endhint %}

#### Gamma Detail Window Definitions

Defines the net dealer gamma and the resulting volatility mechanics.

* **BREAKOUT** (Position > 100%): The spot price has completely breached the highest structural resistance wall in the options chain.
  * Outcome: Upside vacuum. Dealers are offside (short calls) and are forced into aggressive, unconditional buying of the underlying stock to hedge their expanding negative delta. This triggers an unconstrained gamma squeeze.
* **BULLISH** (Position 66% - 100%): The spot price is hovering in the upper third of the structural gamma channel, actively testing the upper resistance nodes.
  * Outcome: Upward structural bias. Dealer hedging is supporting the bid, and squeeze mechanics are beginning to build as the price compresses against the upper boundary.
* **NEUTRAL** (Position 34% - 65%): The spot price is trapped securely between the major Put and Call walls.
  * Outcome: High friction and range-bound chop. Dealers are comfortably hedged and any directional movement is met with mean-reverting resistance from market makers re-balancing their books.
* **BEARISH** (Position 0% - 33%): The spot price has decayed into the lower third of the structural gamma channel, pressing heavily against the lower support nodes.
  * Outcome: Downward structural bias. Dealers are heavy in puts and are actively shedding delta (selling the underlying) as the price drops, adding weight to the downward trajectory.
* **BREAKDOWN** (Position < 0%): The spot price has breached the lowest structural support wall (the Put Wall) in the options chain.

#### Volume Profile

Measures the active, intraday concentration of options flow.

* Calculates the percentage of the current session's total options volume executed at the top three most active strike prices.
* Application: Identifies where aggressive, immediate capital is being deployed right now, independent of historical positioning.&#x20;

#### Influence Ratio (Gamma Leverage)

Shows the mechanical leverage the derivative market exerts over the underlying spot market.

* Calculated by dividing the total notional Gamma Exposure (GEX) by the underlying asset's Average Daily Volume (ADV).
* Application: A ratio significantly greater than 1.0x indicates that the options market is the dominant marginal price setter. High ratios confirm that dealer delta-hedging flows will completely overpower standard, organic spot/common market liquidity.

#### Structure Score

Measures the derivative fragility and weight distribution of the entire options chain.

* Mechanic: Calculates the percentage of total absolute gamma exposure concentrated at the three heaviest strike prices across the analyzed term structure.
* Application: Evaluates the structural "state" of the market. A high concentration indicates a brittle market structure heavily hinged on a localized price band. Breaching these highly concentrated nodes triggers aggressive dealer re-hedging, resulting in gap-style price expansion (vacuums) or squeezes.

#### Monthly OpEx

Tracks the temporal distance to the nearest true institutional 3rd-Friday expiration, intentionally bypassing low-weight weekly retail expirations.

* Mechanic: Isolates the nearest standard monthly options expiration date.
* Pinning Risk: Triggers a HIGH PINNING RISK flag when the spot price is within 3 days of the institutional expiration (DTE < 3) *and* the Structure Score exceeds 35%. This signals that dealer mechanics are actively buying/selling to anchor the spot price to the dominant strike, maximizing momentum friction.

#### MODEL VERDICT

The synthesized directional bias dictated by the aggregate structural path of least resistance.

* Mechanic: Evaluates the spot price relative to the heaviest support, resistance, and absolute magnet walls.
* Application: Defines whether the heavy money positioning authorizes upward drift (Bullish/Call Dominant), signals impending downward velocity (Bearish/Put Dominant), or dictates range-bound friction (Neutral).

# Stock Alerts

You may set browser-based desktop alerts to stay notified of specific breakouts with the Notification menu settings option. This is useful to help ensure you get instant notification of a stock’s movement.

There are 5 alert types you may set. Each will show in **Alert History** as well as in your operating system notification system.

* **Halt Alert** - Halts provide fast notification when a stock is halted. When enabled, it will poll Nasdaq and report on all stocks which are halted with reason code (e.g. volatility, news pending)
* **High/Low Breakout Alert** - Alert notifications are sent for every new high or low of the symbol. You may adjust the frequency of the alerts by adjusting the alert sensitivity (dollar-based rate of change).
* **(Pro+ and above) Unusual Volume % Alert** - Provides alerts based on volume relative to the prior 30-day average. You may configure the frequency of alerts based on percentage variance from the average.
* **(Pro+ and above) VWAP Distance % Alert** - Alerts based on the symbol's current price percent variance from VWAP. (Start with a lower setting and adjust based on volatility.)
* **(Pro+ and above) Price % Alert** - Alert notifications based on a stock's percent change.
* **(Pro+ and above) Conditional Alert** - Custom alerts built on your criteria. Where other alert types require an entered symbol, Conditional Alerts report the symbols which meet the set criteria. Conditional alerts may be configured using any or all of the available criteria, including average volume, float, price, price change%, momentum, unusual volume, VWAPdist, Moneyflow range, Moneyflow change%, and Squeeze.

{% hint style="info" %}
**MOMO Pro+ users:** Review [Conditional Alerts](https://doc.mometic.com/momo-pro-user-guide/momo-pro+-features#pro-conditional-alert) for additional configuration details.

# Settings

Within Settings (accessed from the menu in top right of dashboard or from [momo.mometic.com/settings](https://momo.mometic.com/settings)) you have the option to configure General Settings, MOMO High/Low Stream filters, Discovery column layout and the base MOMO notifications.

### **General Settings**

The available sub-options for General Settings are Options and News.

**Options**

The Options setting provides you the ability to globally filter or adjust how you want stocks which have underlying options to appear.

* **Icon** - When this option is selected the **°** indicator will appear next to optionable stocks on the Stream and Discovery views.
* **Filter** - When selected, will ONLY show equities with underlying options in Stream and Discovery views.
* **Off** - Does not show the **°** indicator or filter option-able stocks. "Off" is default behavior.

<figure><img src="/files/eBu6mDMkS5vgKTBy1Q6F" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro General Settings</p></figcaption></figure>

**Halts**

* **Symbol Length Filter** - Removes stocks with 4 or more characters that can appear for lengthy durations due to halt codes.
* **Time Filter** - If a stock is halted for longer than your selected duration, it will be hidden from the Stream Halt Bar. Note - if the Min value of 0 is chosen, no halts will be displayed in the Halt Bar.

**Important Tip:**

If evaluating MOMO Pro for scanning performance and breakouts with Options set to "filter" be aware many small cap breakouts do not have available options and will not be shown. Recommend leaving setting to **OFF** or **ICON** setting initially as many new users set to filter and don't realize the impact.

### **News Settings**

* **SEC Filings** - adjusts whether or not to show SEC filings in News view in order prevent flooding results. SEC filings will still appear in results of individually searched stocks.
* **Strict News Relevance** - When enabled will only show News (and supporting News Icon) when articles explicitly list the stock symbol or company name in the Title or Summary and will ignore casual references that some sources use as a way to increase distribution.&#x20;
* **News Icon** - is displayed to highlight recent news on the Stream and Discovery views. Adjust the slider to configure how far back in past MOMO should consider news as “recent”.
* **Sources** - Used to remove any undesired sources from News results.
  * **Strict Source Matching** - When enabled will only display the dashboard news icon if news is related to your enabled sources below. Disable to show the icon for ALL news in the time frame for all news regardless of selections.

<figure><img src="/files/Rg3f6d3J226y16ptSaea" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Stream Settings**

To adjust the Streams, select the desired Stream (1 or 2) and set accordingly. Either Stream may be assigned to one of 4 Types and one of 3 Modes. It's worth noting the Custom and Filter options will support unique configurations or stock listings. (e.g. If Stream 1 and Stream 2 are both set to "Filter" you can have different settings for each.)&#x20;

**Note:** We recommend using the color coding feature to identify each Stream.

<figure><img src="/files/YcDmv4yoqrX9G1jJCEo3" alt=""><figcaption><p>MOMO Pro Stream Filters</p></figcaption></figure>

* **Favorites** - Limit Stream to only display new highs/ new lows based on your Favorite Quotes
* **Custom** - Upload CSV or individually add list of up to 250 stock symbols. 250 symbols may be supported on each stream for combined total of 500 symbols

Mode settings provide alter the reporting of values in Stream. The 3 (4 with Ultra) available Modes for Stream 1 and Stream 2 are:

* **Default** - Is standard Stream behavior. This means Stream will display stocks with new highs or lows of the day.
* **Near .10** - This is an advanced Stream setting. When selected, Stream will display stocks which are $0.10 from a new daily high or new daily low.
* **Near 1%:**- This is an advanced Stream setting. When selected, Stream will display stocks which are 1% from a new daily high or new daily low.
* **ORB (Ultra) -** Used to establish an opening trading range. Based on opening range breakout (ORB) strategy.

#### **Stream Filter Settings Detail**

The **Filter** and **Custom** selections have additional configuration available. **Popular** and **Favorites** do not have additional settings, but ensure when selecting "**Favorite**" you have added an adequate number of **Favorite Quotes** for the functionality to be useful as a limited subset of stocks will limit or even stop any Stream results from showing.

#### **Price Filter**

If there is a particular price range you wish to display, the price filter slider that can be set to accordingly. Keeping the slider set on the MIN and MAX will ensure you are receiving all available stocks and equities.

<figure><img src="/files/XOFPoxNJkI305pnsMy4S" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Price Change %**

Filters to only display new highs or lows on the day based on the daily percent gain or loss. If set to 2.5 for example as a minimum, this indicates that only stocks with at least a 2.5% gain or loss on the day would be displayed in Stream. (This is a premium feature only available in MOMO Pro and Pro+).

<figure><img src="/files/1CK8iWZHk1O2Mg7xUoi7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Avg Vol Filter**

If you prefer to ignore low volume symbols or focus on higher volume stocks you can set the volume filter to accommodate. When the slider remains on the MIN and MAX values, no volume filtering is being applied. The average volume filter is based on 10-day moving daily average.

<figure><img src="/files/VXxEUt7CTL61OBkJIl0g" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Regular Vol Filter**

To set a daily volume min, max or range during regular market hours in Stream, use Regular Vol Filter. When configured, this filter will only show stocks with total accumulated volume within the minimum and maximum range you set. (This is a premium feature only available in MOMO Pro and Pro+).

<figure><img src="/files/QIWnr57uPnWUm4jaX8NS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Extended Vol Filter**

&#x20;To set a min, max or volume range during extended market hours in Stream, use Extended Vol Filter. When configured, this filter will only show stocks with total accumulated volume within the minimum and maximum range. **Note:** The extended volume filter resets between pre-market and regular market. For example, if the filter minimum is set for 100,000 and a stock hits 120,000 in Pre-market it will display. When after-hours starts the same stock will need to trade at least 100,000 shares during after-hours to display. (This is a premium feature only available in MOMO Pro and Pro+.)

<figure><img src="/files/ZSisxaKozJrCy7HSap5d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Float Filter**

The float filter provides optional way to focus on businesses based on outstanding shares. When used in conjunction with price you can refine scan businesses based on market cap.

<figure><img src="/files/YPfwSfTHz3N6XwY1nbZJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Count Filter**

Count is the sum of new highs (or lows) of the day. Adjusting this filter allows you to reduce those symbols just making a preliminary move (increase minimum value) or those which have had an extended run and possibly risky to chase (decrease maximum value).

<figure><img src="/files/XbHHojLuKzDGMydQUpMq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **ATR Filter**

ATR% is a measure for evaluating volatility (Average True Range). We express as a percentage to provide a comparative value against the market. (This is a premium feature only available in MOMO Pro+)

<figure><img src="/files/GLyuK0OvyrjiFyQWAi7t" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Gap Filter**

Gap% is a filter for identifying stocks making higher highs or lower lows with a Gap. We express as a percentage to provide a comparative value against the market. (This is a premium feature only available in MOMO Pro+)

<figure><img src="/files/5lYODkL0MjfKsS9sxZSH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Category Filter**

Selectively removes particular stocks from the available 18 categories to narrow your focus. Use the category filters in conjunction with other Stream filters to refine as needed. For example, you may set to only see symbols in the “Energy” category with a price range $5 to $20 and average daily volume of greater than 100k shares.

<figure><img src="/files/MysaPwg4B1IJm70jdcim" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Custom Stream**

The custom Stream is designed to provide dedicated view of a personal list of stocks. Examples include a watchlist, SPACs list, emerging biotechs list, and high short % list. Drag a CSV file of up to 250 symbols to create a custom MOMO stream. You may optionally add them manually with the "Add" button. To remove individual symbols select "Edit" or click the trash icon to delete the entire file. Symbols not recognized by MOMO will not be processed.

<figure><img src="/files/zVaXspA5SN9fjrPio8eN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Discovery Settings**

Most of the options on Discovery are configurable on the dashboard, but display options are set in Settings. Display options can hide columns entirely and adjust ordering. To adjust order, drag columns to preferred order. These settings are useful for fitting the desired data into mobile browsers.

**Discovery Display Options**

<figure><img src="/files/ncRIIfWV1GzfIwIldwzO" alt=""><figcaption><p>Discovery Settings</p></figcaption></figure>

#### Configuring Discovery

There are a few Discovery setting adjustments worth noting. The grabber bars on the left of each row allow you to adjust the placement order in the Discovery window. The symbol will always be on the leftmost position as it is pinned. You may change some of the values for rows to report either percent change or dollar change. Last for example provides this option. Day traders typically prefer sorting by dollar change, while active investors prefer sorting by percent change.

Additionally you may enable or disable columns you want active.  For performance considerations, you may enable up to 14 columns for display.&#x20;

#### **Neural Audio Notifications**

Assign life-like voice or tones to various MOMO zones to keep track of market movement audibly. To start, use Add Voice selection, choose assignment area you would want audible output, the voice option, as well as whether you want the response said as the symbol or the corresponding name of the company or ETF.

Click the settings gear to slow down the notification rate. This may slightly delay the output during periods of busy market activity.

<figure><img src="/files/yoE2Pz2imA98fNrS7yng" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**NOTE:** You must enable sound and/or unmute the browser to hear the sound output.

### **Notification Settings**

Each of the 6 alert types can enabled or configured under Notification settings. (also see [Conditional Alerts ](https://doc.mometic.com/momo-pro-user-guide/momo-pro+-features#pro-conditional-alert))

#### **Halt Setting**

Enable for notification when a stock is halted or resumes trading. This notification occurs within 1 min of Nasdaq issuance.

<figure><img src="/files/sqrUGF2XI8pnSU0vJSEB" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **High/Low Setting**

Base notification which works with the Stream. Sensitivity is the rate of change based on price. When a symbol is added when that stock changes based on sensitivity, a push notification will be published and also shown in the alerts window.

<figure><img src="/files/FNPb74qkyw9yDIODe16F" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Unusual Volume %**

Symbols may also be added to highlight unusual volume.  This is also called relative volume or Rvol as it is the current price "relative" to the historical average.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/NqvdMDKdUTHzXQpNBfne" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **VWAP Distance %**

To identify periods where stocks may be oversold or overbought you may set VWAP Distance % notifications.  These alerts will be sent when a stock's price exceeds the VWAP price by your defined percentage.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/qx9rl7jv6UGi8y91Iw4p" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Price Change**

Enter stocks to track by percent change. As with all MOMO alerts, they work across regular and extended hours and don't need reconfiguration. Once configured, MOMO Pro will publish an alert for every set percent change, whether a positive or negative change.

<figure><img src="/files/rhafRNKkBiR0PSpvoOMP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
